LME was born from something deeply personal — growing up in a Dominican household where every milestone was celebrated loudly, joyfully, and with heart. As a first-generation Latina daughter of Dominican immigrants, a corporate professional, and a mother of four, Mercedes built LME from the ground up to be the venue she always wished existed for her own community.
Today, La Mercedes Events is a family-owned, woman-led boutique event venue in Zephyrhills, Florida — a mother-daughter legacy where Ruth, Mercedes' mother and biggest believer, welcomes every client like family while Mercedes brings her corporate expertise to every detail. Every event is hosted with intention, care, and attention to detail — from your first inquiry to the final walkthrough. Our goal is to create a stress-free, beautifully styled experience where your vision comes to life and your guests feel truly welcomed.
